A few days back, I went to watch a movie at Fun Cinemas in DD (Deen Dayal) Mall Gwalior. In this article, I am going to share my complete experience at the Fun Cinemas in DD Mall Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Fun Cinemas is a movie theatre multiplex located in DD Mall. It is Gwalior’s first ever modern movie multiplex started in the year 2010. It is the favorite place of the moviegoers until a new multiplex- INOX Movies opened in the city of Gwalior.
Fun Cinemas has a total of approx 30 multiplexes in the country that operates around 100 plus screens/ movie halls in the nation. But now with the merging of Fun Cinemas & Cinepolis, the total figure now stands around 95 multiplexes in the 61 locations in India with of screen count of approx 420.
My Experience At Fun Cinemas, DD Mall, Gwalior
I went to watch the Jug Jug Jiyo movie with my girlfriend as she has a big celebrity crush on the movie’s actor Varun Dhawan. But I don’t mind it because I too like Varun and went with her to watch the movie (I can’t mention that I went to watch this movie for Kiara Advani :P).
The Fun Cinema has an average interior design in comparison to today’s multiplexes in India but that’s fine because it is 12 years old multiplex and was the first of a kind in Gwalior city. The concession stands at the Fun Cinemas provide a large variety of fast foods, snacks, and drinks.
Fun Cinemas movie halls are big and have more sitting capacity than the INOX Movies Gwalior. The screen size is comparatively bigger than most of the cinema theatres in Gwalior city.
Also, the Fun Cinemas has the best corner seats for couples. Mostly couples book movies in Fun Cinemas to have some romantic moments with each other. But INOX seats are more comfortable and stylish.
There were no long entry lines at the Fun Cinemas. Also, their staff is 100% vaccinated and follows all necessary precautions regarding the Covid-19 virus. Safe and fast entry in the multiplex is a good thing to experience.
Although, most moviegoers book tickets online nowadays to avoid long lines at the ticket counter. But I still suggest you to book online tickets if you are going to watch a movie in Fun Cinemas.
The reason is at the ticket counter they can’t let you book movie tickets only, you have to purchase something to eat also. Only after buying something to eat, they will book your tickets.
The staff behavior at Fun Cinemas is normally good but in the cinema hall, they come to you several times and force you to buy something to eat. Especially if you are a couple then they insist you more so by the shame or shyness in front of your partner you will buy something.
This is really something the management of Fun Cinemas should avoid. Also, their prices are very high but that’s normal for all the multiplexes. The food quality at Fun Cinemas is very poor. Overall it is the second best place to watch movies in Gwalior but for couples, Fun Cinemas is best for privacy.

How To Reach Fun Cinemas, DD Mall, Gwalior
It is very easy to reach Fun Cinemas as it is located in a very prime location, inside the biggest landmark of Gwalior city- DD Mall. It is located on the 3rd floor of the DD Mall and the ticket counter is situated on the ground floor.
