1. Latest Omicron Guidelines For Travelers Traveling To And From Delhi.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has issued new guidelines regarding the Omicron variant of Coronavirus for both domestic and international air passengers traveling to and from Delhi.
The Ministry posted the latest guidelines and regulations on the social networking site Twitter, “Attention Travelers! Traveling to Delhi? Take a look at the latest State-wise Quarantine Guidelines. Take all the necessary measures and be a #COVID_Hero #TravelSafeTravelMindfully.”

2. England Issued New Travel Rules For International Tourists
The United Kingdom has released new travel guidelines for international travelers due to the rising number of Omicron cases in the world. According to the latest guidelines released by the England authorities, the restrictions depend on the vaccination status of the traveler.
All travelers willing to visit England must take a Covid-19 test. There will also be an RT-PCR test upon arrival in England. Non-vaccinated travelers will have to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.
3. Thailand Bans Indians From Visiting The Country
Thailand authorities restrict Indian tourists from visiting the country due to the rising number of Covid-19 Omicron variant cases. However, Indian travelers can visit Thailand via Phuket. They need to spend 7-10 days in Phuket and go through a number of Coronavirus tests and if everything goes well they will be allowed to visit Thailand via Phuket.
“Flights to Phuket from India will be from Delhi by MakeMyTrip. If one plans to arrive in Phuket, then he/ she will have to select Phuket ‘Sans Box’. After seven days in Phuket, one can go to other destinations in Thailand” read a statement from the Thailand authorities spokesperson.
Cholada Siddhivarn, director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand said, “We are happy to welcome Indians to Thailand. However, we have just altered the entry rules for people entering our country from different entry points except for Phuket. The step comes in after the rise in new variant cases. We believe it is better to take necessary precautions while we still are ready to welcome travelers from different parts of the world.
She further added, “Travelers wanting to travel to Phuket can register for Thailand Pass under the Phuket Sandbox program and Happy Quarantine.” The process of quarantine at government-approved AQ hotels in Thailand at the traveler’s own expense.
