1. Sri Lanka To Resume ETA Service For Foreign Travelers At Airports

According to Sri Lanka’s government, the on-arrival ETA service is going to resume at airports for international travelers. The Electronic Travel Authorisation service (ETA) is a way to make things easier for international travelers. Sri Lanka is one of the popular tourist destinations for travelers coming from the Indian subcontinent.

The Controller General of the Immigration and Emigration Department of Sri Lanka, Sarath Rupasiri said that on-arrival ETA would help fully-vaccinated international travelers who have time constraints and are unable to get an online ETA. The ETA facility would be available for international arrivals at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport in Hambantota and at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.

2. The USA Allows Fully Vaccinated Indians To Visit The Country

After months of travel bans on international flights, the USA is finally lifting the air travel ban on foreign travelers entering the United Nations of America. Under the USA’s new air travel system, America opened its borders to tourists coming from India in November 2021. But only the vaccinated Indians can now travel to the USA.

3. UK Government Introduces new Cheaper Covid-19 Travel Tests Instead of Expensive PCR Tests

United Kingdom introduced new rules that allow travelers coming to England to take lateral flow tests instead of more expensive PCR tests. This rule will come into force on 24 October 2021. The Chief Executive of Airlines UK, Tim Alderslade, said- “This is great news and we’re pleased to get it over the line in time for the crucial half-term period, which will be a massive relief to families desperate to get away from this autumn.”

4. No Mandatory Quarantine For Fully Vaccinated Tourists in Chile

Here is a piece of great news for tourists planning to visit Chile, From 1 November 2021 there will be no mandatory quarantine for fully vaccinated tourists. According to Chile’s latest travel rules and regulations, the five-day quarantine period will not be mandatory after the 31st of October. From November 1 onwards, you will be able to skip quarantine in Chile if you are fully vaccinated.
