As the spread of the coronavirus has slowed down in India and a large number of the Indian population got fully vaccinated, some of the major foreign countries opened their borders to Indian travelers and started welcoming Indians for tourism to their respective nations.
In this article, I am going to tell you about the 9 foreign destinations open for tourism from Indian nationals without the quarantine rules from the ongoing year 2022. However, it is still not safe to travel outdoors because the Covid-19 virus is not completely over yet.

9 Countries Open For Tourism From Fully Vaccinated Indian Travelers Without Quarantine
Here is a list of 9 foreign countries that have restarted tourism from India amid the Omicron strain in the year 2022.
1. Bali
After a long period of 4 months, the Indonesian government has eased up Bali’s travel restrictions for Indian travelers. Bali, popularly known as the Islands of Gods is open for tourism again from foreign travelers.
Recently, the president of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, has imposed new regulations for those who are planning to visit Bali by air, as an initial step to re-open the island again.
All international travelers, whether they are Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals, need to provide a full-dose vaccination certificate and a negative RT-PCR test result.
2. Vietnam
Vietnam has reopened tourism for Indian travel enthusiasts from January 2022. Vietnam’s tourism department has launched a program named ‘Live Fully in Vietnam’ to promote tourism in the country.
All international tourists willing to visit Vietnam must provide proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 or they need to present a certificate of recovery from the coronavirus.
A negative RT-PCR test result is mandatory to present upon arrival. Also, all travelers must have medical or travel insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment, with a minimum liability of $50,000.
3. The United Kingdom
The United Kingdom has eased travel restrictions for international travelers after the success of booster programs and vaccinations. From 11 February onwards, fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to take a Covid-19 test either before or after they arrive in the UK.
But, if you are not fully vaccinated, then you need to take a pre-departure test. After you arrive, you need to take a PCR test on or before day 2, and you only need to quarantine if it’s positive.
4. Singapore
Singapore Tourism Authority has started welcoming tourists from India to visit their nation from 31st January 2022. The government has started a ‘Vaccinated Travel Lane’ program that helps vaccinated tourists enter Singapore without quarantine regulations.
According to the latest travel guidelines mandatory Covid tests and testing have been scrapped for vaccinated passengers.
5. Thailand
The country of stunning beaches and adventure paradise, Thailand has resumed a quarantine-free trip for international travelers from any country around the world.
From 1st February 2022, fully vaccinated travelers will now be able to enter Thailand under the ‘Test and Go’ scheme. A negative RT-PCR test result is mandatory to present upon arrival.
6. Cyprus
Cyprus Ministry of Tourism has issued a notification that says that the country will lift all travel restrictions on vaccinated Indian travelers in March 2022. That means from March, fully vaccinated tourists can visit Cyprus without quarantine regulations.
7. Saint Lucia
An Eastern Caribbean island country, Saint Lucia is home to volcanic beaches, reef-diving sites, luxury resorts, and fishing villages. Saint Lucia is now open to visitors from all countries.
But there are still some mandatory travel requirements to follow and also compulsory to submit an online travel registration form to receive travel authorization.
8. Israel
The Ministry of Tourism, Israel has decided to ease travel restrictions for all countries to allow fully vaccinated foreigners to enter the nation without quarantine requirements. The Israeli government stated that travel restrictions were futile in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
Fully vaccinated travelers will only be required to undergo a rapid antigen test on arriving in Israel.
9. The Philippines
The Philippines has started welcoming fully-vaccinated foreign leisure travelers from India and other 156 countries from 10 February 2022.
The Philippines Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat announced on January 28 that the Department of Tourism (DOT) is going to reopen tourism from the 157 countries from the 10th of February.
But there are still various mandatory rules and regulations to follow while arriving in the Philippines for a happy and safe visit.
