Taj Mahal Agra Opening & Closing Time For the Year 2024
The Taj Mahal is open for sightseeing from Sunrise to Sunset during normal operating days. The Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset.
The opening time of the Taj Mahal in the Winter Season is 6:00 AM.
The closing time of the Taj Mahal in the Winter Season is 6:00 PM.
The opening time of the Taj Mahal in the Summer Season is 5:30 AM.
The closing time of the Taj Mahal in the Summer Season is 6:30 PM.

Note: For visiting the main mausoleum of the Taj Mahal one has to buy an additional ticket costing INR 200/- along with the regular ticket.

The Western Gate served as the main entrance gate to the Taj Mahal. It is the most popular entry gate to the Taj Mahal. The Western Gate remains very crowded most of the time. However, if you want to avoid the crowd then prefer the Eastern gate to enter the Taj Mahal.
The Southern Gate is presently closed for the general public to enter the Taj Mahal. All the entry gates of the Taj Mahal have separate parking for tourist vehicles.
