Sarojini Nagar Market Delhi Review
Sarojini Nagar is a famous locality in South West Delhi and is home to Delhi’s most popular & cheapest shopping market of the same name. It is a budget-friendly market and a must-visit site in New Delhi especially if you are a girl or you want to buy something for a girl.
A few days before, I went to Sarojini Nagar Market with my friend as she had to buy some things for herself. I told her to go to some other famous markets in Delhi but she told me that Sarojini is the best shopping place for girls. In this article, I will share my travel experience at the Sarojini Market in New Delhi, India.

My Review & Tour Guide of Sarojini Nagar Market New Delhi
I visited Sarojini Market on Sunday and I found the place so damn heavily crowded. There was so much rush and we had to wait in long lines at the entry gate of the market. Moreover, it is an open-air roadside market and the weather was quite hot that day, we only shopped for half an hour and got too tired to keep going. I will suggest you go to Sarojini early or late to avoid the sun.
Sarojini Nagar Market is indeed one of the cheapest places for shopping in New Delhi. One can buy premium clothes & garments at a very budget price. It is not only a good place to shop for clothes but you can also get beautiful accessories and bags at a very cheap price.
Most shops located in Sarojini Nagar are selling girls’ clothes & accessories, and only a few shops are for boys in Sarojini. One thing I want to mention is that some of the shop owners in Sarojini get very rude if you ask about some goods and do not purchase them for any reason.
Apart from this, Sarojini Nagar Market is the best place to buy designer clothes for girls at a very affordable price. Imagine buying a Manish Malhotra designer Lehnga for less than INR 5000.
Sarojini Market is most famous for selling reputable brands that have been rejected from export, either because of surplus quantity or small manufacturing defects at really cheap pricing. It houses rejected goods from across the world and thus offers almost every product at throwaway prices.
Things I liked about Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi

Things I didn’t like about Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi
- Overcrowded streets on weekends.
- Fear of getting theft
- Congested area
- A few shop owner’s behaviors (rude)
